Skin Care

Australia and New Zealand have been identified as the top two countries in the world with the highest incidence of skin cancer.

Conditions known as Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SCC), Basal Cell Carcinoma (BCC) and Malignant Melanoma (MM) are amongst the most common conditions of concern.

Our General Practitioners (GPs) use a dermatoscope to assess any concerning skin lesions. This instrument magnifies skin lesions by ten times so the GP can identify certain characteristics and differentiate malignant from non-malignant lesions. Minor surgical procedures are performed as the next step of management if needed.

We also provide treatment for non-malignant conditions such as skin warts, skin tags, seborrheic and actinic keratosis. Cryotherapy or treatment with liquid nitrogen is used as required.

Please discuss treatment options with your GP so we can acknowledge and offer individualised care.
